Definition
A preposition is a word usually placed before the a noun or a prinoun to show place,time,cause,purpose or means.
ස්ථානයක් ,වේලාවක් ,හේතුවක් ,අරමුණක් හෝ ක්‍රමවේදයක් පෙන්විමට නාමපදයක් හෝ සර්වනාම පදයක් ඉදිරියේ තබනු ලබන නාමයන් නිපාත පද වේ.
